What is Galbraith School Council?
A School Council is a formally constituted group made up of parents, the principal, staff and community members. This group advises on educational matters at the school level.
All parents/guardians of students attending Galbraith can be members of Galbraith School Council.
To foster the well-being and effectiveness of our school community and to ensure excellence in the educational environment, thereby assisting pupils in their continual development.
Galbraith School Council works closely with Galbraith staff and families to ensure that the students at Galbraith Elementary receive the best education including technological advances as available, health conscious and enjoyable extracurricular functions including hot lunches, staff appreciation, fundraising, dress-up days, carnivals, concerts, special speakers/entertainers, etc. Galbraith School Council also assists with occasional information seminars and assemblies for parents/guardians.
