The main purpose of the Kindergarten Program is to strengthen the sense of dignity and self-worth within the young child and their family and the prepare the children for Grade One. The kindergarten program provides a "child centered" environment where youngsters can work and play individually or in small groups at learning centers. Large group activities such as gym and music are also provided.
Parent involvement is essential in a Kindergarten program. Parents are asked to serve as volunteer assistants and fieldtrip supervisors, sub-committee members, and members of the School Council. In addition, involvement of people and agencies in the community are emphasized.
Field trips to various places in the city will be taken throughout the year.
2022-2023 School Year Kindergarten Program
We will offer AM and PM classes for the 2022-2023 school year.
Monday-Thursday 8:35-11:50 AM and 12:35-3:50 PM
Friday am ONLY 8:35-11:30 AM
Students will also come alternating Friday mornings. A calendar will be provided at the beginning of the year for alternating Fridays.
